1. INTRODUCTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the terms and conditions under which Edument Consultancy Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our") provides refunds to its clients (hereinafter referred to as "Client", "You", or "Your"). By engaging our services and making payments, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy in its entirety.

This Policy forms an integral part of the Service Agreement between the Company and the Client and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.


2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

Edument Consultancy Private Limited provides the following consultancy services to students seeking international education opportunities:

a) Admission Assistance Services

  • University/College selection and application guidance

  • Application documentation support

  • Profile evaluation and counseling

  • Application submission assistance

b) Education Loan Assistance Services

  • Education loan counseling and guidance

  • Assistance in connecting with financial institutions

  • Documentation support for loan applications

  • Loan application process guidance

c) Visa Assistance Services

  • Visa application guidance and counseling

  • Documentation support for visa applications

  • Interview preparation assistance

  • Visa application submission support


3. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS

3.1 Third-Party Decisions
The Company provides professional counseling, guidance, and application assistance based on our expertise, industry knowledge, and information provided by our partner institutions. However, we explicitly state that:

  • Final admission decisions rest solely with the universities/colleges to which applications are submitted

  • Visa approvals or rejections are determined exclusively by the respective embassy, consulate, or immigration authorities

  • Education loan approvals are at the sole discretion of the lending financial institutions

  • Scholarship awards and financial aid decisions are made by the respective institutions or funding bodies

3.2 No Outcome Guarantee
The Company does NOT guarantee, warrant, or assure any specific outcomes including but not limited to:

  • Admission to any particular institution

  • Visa approval

  • Education loan approval or any specific loan amount

  • Scholarship awards or financial aid

3.3 Service Limitations
Our services are limited to guidance, counseling, and application assistance. We do not have any control over or influence on the decisions made by third-party entities including educational institutions, immigration authorities, or financial institutions.


4. FEES AND PAYMENT TERMS

4.1 Service Fees
Service fees applicable to each service category are communicated to the Client in writing prior to registration and commencement of services. The fee structure may vary based on:

  • Type and scope of services selected

  • Destination country

  • Number of applications

  • Complexity of the case

  • Any special or additional services requested

4.2 Payment Terms

  • All fees must be paid as per the payment schedule communicated at the time of registration

  • Payments can be made through the payment methods specified by the Company

  • Receipt of payment will be acknowledged via email

  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated

  • Any bank charges, transaction fees, or payment gateway charges are to be borne by the Client

4.3 Discounts and Offers
Any discounts, promotional offers, or special pricing are:

  • Offered at the sole discretion of the Company

  • Subject to specific terms and conditions that will be communicated at the time of the offer

  • Not transferable or redeemable for cash

  • Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated


5. REFUND POLICY

5.1 General Refund Principle
Service fees once paid are generally NON-REFUNDABLE, except under specific circumstances outlined in this Policy. This is due to the time, effort, expertise, and resources invested by the Company from the moment services commence.

5.2 Service-Specific Refund Terms

A. ADMISSION ASSISTANCE SERVICES

5.2.1 Refund Eligibility - Before Service Commencement

  • 100% Refund: If the Client requests cancellation within 48 hours of payment and before any services have been rendered or profile evaluation has commenced

  • Deduction: Transaction charges (up to 4% of the paid amount) will be deducted from the refund

5.2.2 Refund Eligibility - After Service Commencement

  • No Refund: Once the Company has commenced work including profile evaluation, university shortlisting, application drafting, or any other service activity, fees are completely non-refundable

  • Partial Service: If the Client wishes to discontinue after partial service delivery, no refund will be provided for any completed or ongoing work

5.2.3 Non-Refundable After Application Submission

  • Once applications have been submitted to universities on behalf of the Client, fees are entirely non-refundable regardless of admission outcomes

5.2.4 Company's Failure to Deliver

  • 100% Refund: If the Company fails to provide the agreed services due to reasons attributable solely to the Company (excluding client non-cooperation, incomplete documentation, or third-party factors), a full refund will be provided after deduction of any incurred third-party costs


B. EDUCATION LOAN ASSISTANCE SERVICES

5.2.5 Refund Eligibility - Before Service Commencement

  • 100% Refund: If the Client requests cancellation within 48 hours of payment and before any loan counseling or documentation work has commenced. This is not related to any fees paid by client to the Lender and solely for any fees paid by client to us.

  • Deduction: Transaction charges (up to 4% of the paid amount) will be deducted from the refund

5.2.6 Refund Eligibility - After Service Commencement

  • No Refund: Once loan counseling has been provided, financial institution connections have been facilitated, or documentation assistance has commenced, fees are non-refundable

  • Loan Approval/Rejection: Refunds are not provided based on loan approval or rejection by financial institutions, as these decisions are beyond the Company's control

5.2.7 Client Eligibility Issues

  • No Refund: If the Client is deemed ineligible for education loans by financial institutions due to credit history, income criteria, or other eligibility factors, no refund will be provided as the Company has no control over lending institution criteria


C. VISA ASSISTANCE SERVICES

5.2.8 Refund Eligibility - Before Service Commencement

  • 100% Refund: If the Client requests cancellation within 48 hours of payment and before visa counseling or slot assistance or documentation work has commenced

  • Deduction: Transaction charges (up to 4% of the paid amount) will be deducted from the refund

5.2.9 Refund Eligibility - After Service Commencement

  • No Refund: Once visa counseling has been provided, documentation work has commenced, or any guidance or assistance regarding slot booking has been given, fees are completely non-refundable

  • Visa Approval/Rejection: Refunds are not provided based on visa approval or rejection outcomes, as these decisions are made solely by immigration authorities

5.2.10 Interview Preparation

  • No Refund: Once interview slot assistance or interview preparation sessions have been conducted or scheduled, fees are non-refundable regardless of visa outcomes.

5.2.11 Visa Application Status

  • No Refund: No refunds will be provided for delays in visa processing, requests for additional documents by embassies, or visa application outcomes


6. REFUND REQUEST PROCESS

6.1 How to Request a Refund
Clients seeking a refund under eligible circumstances must:

  1. Send a written refund request via email to: hello@foreignadmits.com

  2. Include the following information:

    • Full name and contact details

    • Service agreement/registration number

    • Payment receipt/transaction ID

    • Detailed reason for refund request

    • Supporting documents (if applicable)

6.2 Refund Processing Timeline

  • All refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days of receipt

  • The Company will communicate the refund decision via email within this period

  • If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of approval

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the transaction

6.3 Refund Communication

  • The Company will send email confirmation once the refund has been initiated

  • Clients are responsible for following up with their bank or payment provider for credit timelines

  • The Company is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways


7. NON-REFUNDABLE FEES AND CHARGES

The following fees and charges are NEVER REFUNDABLE under any circumstances:

7.1 Third-Party Charges

  • University application fees

  • Courier and shipping charges

  • Document evaluation/verification fees

  • Translation charges

  • Government processing fees

  • Embassy/Consulate visa fees

  • Education credential assessment fees

  • Any fees paid to third-party service providers

7.2 Administrative Charges

  • Registration fees (where applicable)

  • Consultation fees for services already rendered

  • Transaction and payment gateway charges

  • Banking charges


8. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

8.1 Medical Emergency or Force Majeure
In case of serious medical emergencies, death, or force majeure events that prevent the Client from pursuing services, refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Clients must provide:

  • Relevant medical certificates/death certificates

  • Proof of the force majeure event

  • Documentary evidence supporting the claim

The Company reserves the right to provide partial or full refund at its sole discretion after verification of documents.

8.2 Company's Right to Modify Services
If the Company is unable to provide the agreed services due to circumstances beyond its control (such as closure of partner institutions, regulatory changes, or natural disasters), the Company will either:

  • Offer alternative comparable services, or

  • Provide a pro-rata refund for services not yet rendered


9. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS FOR REFUND ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for any refund under this Policy, the Client must:

9.1 Cooperation

  • Have provided complete, accurate, and truthful information throughout the engagement

  • Have responded to the Company's communications in a timely manner

  • Have provided all requested documents within specified timelines

9.2 Compliance

  • Have complied with all terms and conditions of the Service Agreement

  • Not have breached any terms of service

  • Not have engaged in fraudulent or unethical conduct

9.3 Non-Cooperation as Ground for Refund Denial
If the Company determines that services could not be completed due to Client's:

  • Failure to provide required documents

  • Non-responsiveness to communications

  • Provision of false or misleading information

  • Non-cooperation with the service delivery process

Then no refund will be provided, regardless of other circumstances.


10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

10.1 Informal Resolution
In the event of any dispute regarding refunds, the Client agrees to first attempt informal resolution by contacting the Company at hello@foreignadmits.com or +919170672439.

10.2 Escalation
If informal resolution is not successful within 15 business days, the matter may be escalated for formal review by the Company's management.

10.3 Jurisdiction
This Refund Policy and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala, India.

11. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY

The Company reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notification to existing clients. Continued use of services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. However, changes will not apply retroactively to services already purchased prior to the modification.

By engaging our services and making payment, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood this Refund Policy in its entirety

  • You agree to be bound by all terms and conditions stated herein

  • You understand that service fees are generally non-refundable except under specific circumstances outlined in this Policy

  • You acknowledge that the Company does not guarantee any outcomes related to admissions, visas, or education loans

  • You understand that third-party decisions are beyond the Company's control and do not constitute grounds for refunds
